The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a robbery with a firearm at the Clark Gas Station on Baldwin Road on Oct. 22.
According to an OCSD report, a 33-year-old woman working at the store was at the counter when a white male, wearing an army jacket, dark pants and baseball cap, walked in and got a drink from the cooler. The man came to the counter and told her to open the drawer, taking a gun from his pocket and pushing it towards her.
The woman had trouble opening the drawer, but eventually was able to and the man took the drawer and about $200 inside it. According to the clerk, the gun he had looked old and had silver tape on the handle. She said the man also told her to give him cartons of cigarettes, which she did.
The man told the clerk to go in the back, then gathered up the cigarettes and left. The same subject is suspected by the OCSD in a robbery of a store in Independence Township.
