LEINONEN, MILLERT DUANE of Standish formerly of Pontiac; died May 6, 2018.  He was 88.  Born on January 31, 1930 in Shell River Twp., Minnesota to the late Lars F. and Hilma E. (nee: Niemi) Leinonen.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Irene Mae Leinonen on January 6, 2018 as well as two sons, Larry and Timothy Leinonen.  He is survived by three children, Gary (Cathy) Leinonen, Vickie (Randy) Leinonen-Cook and Regina (William) Cooney; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Millert retired from GM Truck and Coach as a millwright and was a member of UAW Local #594 and a licensed builder.  He was a member of Twining Baptist Church.  Memorial graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Ortonville Cemetery.
