LEWIS FREDERICK TERRYAH of Goodrich, Michigan. Died February 8, 2019 at his home. He was 90.
Born July 15, 1928 in Ortonville to the late Thomas and Ivory (nee: Hartwig) Terryah. He is survived by his sons, David Terryah, Daniel Terryah and Michael Terryah; daughters, Terry (Ray) Christner, Jill (Randy) Terryah, Jackie (Lenny) Rockwood; Lewis is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Tony, David (Jane), Glen, Andrew (Sara), Troy (Julia), Dan (Laurie), Traci (James), John, Jim (Colene), Danielle (Koeun), Katie, Aaron (Lexi), Kelsey (Mike), Rachel (Tom), and Nelson and 10 great grandchildren, Alex, Sam, Sydnee, Trenton, Talan, Brooklyn, Adelynn, Judah, Paxton and Eden. He was proceeded in death by his wife Joanne Terryah in 2008; one sister Lucy Baird; two brothers, Thomas Terryah and Glenn Terryah. Lewis was employed at Consumers Power for 38 years, 21 years as a welder and 17 years in supervision, retiring in 1985. Lewis taught welding at Mott Community College. He was a master welder by trade, but also a master of many trades and a John Deere enthusiast. A private memorial service was held.
