All of the members of the Lake Orion School Board have been given Honor Board Status through the Michigan School Board Association.
The board members were required to take a variety of classes and seminars to achieve this level.
According to LO Assistant Superintendent Chris Lehman, Lake Orion is only one of 14 school boards in the state to be designated Honor Board.
