Ortonville — On Oct. 5, Steve ‘Koz’ Koslowski and Pam Campbell presented the Brandon Groveland Youth Assistance and the Ortonville Community Historical Society with the proceeds from the Ortonville 175th anniversary time capsule.
The time capsule was put together with the intention of donating the funds raised to community organizations. A total of $18,466.06 was raised and split between the BGYA and OCHS.
Each organization was granted $9,233.03 for a project of their choosing. The time capsule project was organized by Koz and Campbell to benefit the community. The time capsule is set to be opened in 2073.
