The Lake Orion Hockey Organization and coach Pat Cherry will host the Dragon Dry-Land Training Camp July 17-21 at the high school’s auxiliary gymnasium.
The camp, for players in grades 6-8, is designed for pee-wee and Bantam-level hockey players to improve their stick handling skills, increase their proprioception and strength, as well as improve balance and agility.
Cherry said the camp, which runs from 5-7 p.m. each day, is ideal for players before embarking on ice hockey camp or getting ready for the high school level of play.
Players will need shorts, running shoes, a hockey stick and gloves for the camp, which costs $65 and is limited to 30 players.
Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt and a Swedish stick handling ball.
