Jingle in July to help Arthritis Foundation

On July 22, runners and hikers will take to the trails of Orion Oaks Park, and through the streets of Olde World Canterbury Village, at the First Annual Jingle in July 5-Mile Trail Run/Hike.
There will be a 1/4-mile Melted Snowman Shuffle for the kids (ages 10 and under). Bring the family out to the summer version of the Arthritis Foundation’s holiday favorite, Jingle Bell Run/Walk.
Enjoy ‘Christmas in July,? and the charm of Always Christmas and Canterbury Village, as well as the beauty of Orion Oaks Park, on Joslyn Road in Orion Township. There will be food, and Santa and Mrs. Claus have agreed to cut their vacation short and come to the Jingle in July, bringing with them snow from the North Pole.
This event is for the beginner and advanced runner or hiker. The run will be professionally-timed, and medals will be given out in 14 categories. Bring your dog along and enjoy the Bark Park at Orion Oaks.
The registration fee is $25, and after July 12, and the day of the event, $30. Kids can register for the Melted Snowman Shuffle for $10, no late fee.
Everyone who registers will receive a Jingle in July T-shirt, and other goodies.

Proceeds will help fund programs and research to benefit the more than 2.5 million adults and 7,000 children in Michigan who have one or more of the over 100 forms of arthritis and related diseases.
