A Bean To Go is gettin? the buzz

Lake Orion has a new coffee destination.
‘Mesach, Shadrach and A Bean to Go? has opened in downtown on Flint Street to satisfy the cravings of espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate and ? of course ? gourmet coffee lovers in this area.
The owners are Kirk and Amy Walker who brought their unique and satisfying coffee blends and other tasty treats to Lake Orion from their Goodrich home location.
According to Kirk Walker, the couple had been considering adding a second location after having success in Goodrich the past eight years. Walker said he has been looking for a location and when he saw the brick interior and wooden floors at the Flint Street location, he knew he found his new store.
He then added some very unique tables and counters with natural wood he salvaged from the remodeling of the historic White Horse restaurant in Metamora.
He and his father, Ron, sanded and covered the wood in epoxy to give the tables and countertops a perfect blend with the existing interior.
Walker knows a lot about blends. His coffee blends are hot sellers all over the country, roasted at his Goodrich location.
For a few years, the family has been shipping their coffee to restaurants and grocery chains all across the United States. Amy said they ship out hundreds of pounds of coffee each week.
