On July 14 at the Brandon Township Community Park, the annual Art in the Park Movie Night will start at 1 p.m.
“Enjoy the park, get out, do a little running,” said Parks and Recreation Director Fred Waybrant.
This year will feature the classic car show at 1 p.m. and activities for kids starting at 3 p.m. including inflatables, petting zoo, music and concessions.
“Funds are to continue building accessible sidewalks throughout the park, focusing on the tree library and botanical garden area,” said Waybrant. “In the future we’ll continue to move them throughout the park.”

This year, instead of the warrior warm up, there will be a pave the way 2.5/5k run.
“The runners have a choice of doing some of the obstacles in the obstacle course,” said Waybrant. “It’s just a way of getting out and getting some exercise.”
There will be business vendors participating, and there will also be free water from Bueches as long as it lasts.
At dusk there will be a showing of Peter Rabbit for the family movie night. Chairs and blankets are not provided.
The annual Art in the Park Movie Night will start at 1 p.m., Brandon Township Community Park 1414 Hadley Road, Ortonville.
