Andrew Pridemore was promoted to U.S. Navy E2 Seaman Apprentice following his completion of boot camp on Oct. 24.
The 2002 Brandon High School graduate joined the Navy on Aug. 27, enlisting for six years. Prior to joining, Pridemore worked with the Navy in a delayed entry program for one year.
He is currently stationed in Monterey, Calif. and studying to be a cryptologic technician. When he completes his studies, he will be deployed to Bahrain, Iraq or the country of Georgia.
Pridemore’s proud family includes Charles, Pam, Josh and Luke Pridemore of Brandon Township.
