Arson investigation of field vandalism

Oakland County Sheriff’s Office arson investigators are continuing to investigate a fire set on Clarkston High School’s athletic field, around 3:30 p.m., Nov. 9.
Vandals left two large circular burn marks on the Wolf emblem in the center of the field, as well as a burn mark about five yards long to the south of the emblem. A few pieces of burned cloth were found next to the long burn mark. A football blocking sled used for training was also set on fire. Investigators are also looking for possible links to a fire set at Fountains Golf Course.
Anyone with information about the culprits involved in the vandalism are asked to contact Deputy Liaison Officer Scott Panin at the high school, at 248-623-3600.
