Brooklynn Kasidee Scott is the first baby of the new year born to parents who reside in The Citizen readership area.
Brooklynn was born at 6:35 a.m., Jan. 3, 2013 at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital in Pontiac.
She weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 18 inches long.
Proud parents are Andrew and Jennifer Scott of Brandon Township. Big sister is Skylar. Grandparents are Will and Sherry Hewett of Oxford and Vernon and Cheryl Scott of Brandon Township. Great-grandmothers are JoAnn Green of Clarkston, Joyce Hewett of Olden, Texas and Annette Bratt of Oxford.
