Bow and arrow killer sentenced to ‘natural’ life in prison

Oxford resident Phillip Brown, 24, was sentenced Feb. 25 in Oakland County Circuit Court to a mandatory natural life prison term for the April 3, 2002 murder of 36-year-old Randy Pardy, of Leonard.
He was also sentenced to a minimum of one year and 11 months to a maximum of four years in prison for assault with a dangerous weapon. A jury convicted Brown of both crimes Feb. 10 after a trial that began on Feb. 3.
