A special fund-raiser for 13-year-old Tony Riggs is being held at Collier Lanes on Nov. 1 from 1-4:30 p.m. Riggs, whose grandmother is an Oxford resident, has been diagnosed with the rare bone disease Ellis-van Creveld Syndrom. The event is to raise money for a surgery to help treat his condition.
The cost for the fund-raiser is $15 per person and includes two games of bowling, shoe rental, a pop and two pieces of pizza. Half of the $15 will go toward helping Tony.
