The current set of DPW radios will no longer function as of Jan.1 when the FCC ‘narrow-banding? of all radio systems takes place in Orion Township and elsewhere. Because of this, Lake Orion’s Village Manager requested the purchase of two new radios with two-way capability.
The Village Council approved the purchase unanimously at the Monday meeting.
