On Friday, Oct. 21, Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene of burglary at 1285 S. Lapeer Rd. in Oxford Twp.
At approximately 9:59 p.m., a citizen walking by Rzadko’s 10 Minute Oil Change notified deputies of a possible breaking and entering after hearing glass break and seeing a white female allegedly enter through the front window, grab an item and exit the building. The female then allegedly ran across the street and got into a vehicle, which was being driven by a male suspect.
Deputies were unable to locate the suspect’s vehicle. Upon returning to the scene, deputies observed the front window appeared to have been smashed with a rock.
The business owner told deputies a cash box containing approximately $5 was taken.
The incident remains under investigation.
