Oxford Bank employees donated $600 each to two local charities, Clarkston SCAMP and HAVEN of Oakland County.
They raised the money through the bank’s 2009 ‘Dress Down For Charity? program. Employees donate at least $1 monthly to charity in exchange for dressing in casual attire on the fourth Friday of each month. Recipients were determined by employee vote.
Clarkston SCAMP is a summer program offering recreational opportunities for mentally and physically challenged youth. Students attend their program from school districts in the northern end of Oakland County and the southern end of Genesee County.
HAVEN non-profit offers treatment and prevention services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault across Oakland County and surrounding communities.
