The Greater Ortonville Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon has been rescheduled for noon, March 8 at the Brandon central office.
Karl Ziegler, who is the Goodrich Chamber of Commerce President as well as pastor of the Goodrich United Methodist Church, will be a speaker, as well as Brandon Schools Superintendent Bart Jenniches.
Jenniches will discuss a proposed 5-year renewal of 15.0410 mills to benefit the school district as well as a 2.959 mills for a period of five years. Both mill proposals are ‘non-homestead,? applying to businesses and second homes. Voters will decide the issues May 3.
