The 8U Lake Orion Dragons White Tournament Team won the 2010 North Branch Tournament this past weekend.
The team went 3-0 throughout the weekend and mercied the S. Farmington team in the championship game 11-1. A tremendous team effort by all.
The 8U Lake Orion White Dragons team is made up of Coach Derek Hay, Coach Shawn Palatka, Head Coach Bill Bieser, Coach Dale Long, Zach Hay, Nick Palatka, Joel Stirnemann, Matt Bieser, Bryant Wischmeyer, Brian Listenbee, Connor Long, Robbey Stafford, Drake Albers, Tommy Bonnici, Adam Sekutowski and Will Strickland.
The 8U Green team recently participated in the Washington Area Athletic Association tournament over the July 10 weekend.
The team went 4-1 in the round robin tournament and finished in second place. We lost the championship game to Marine City by a score of 8-7.
The Green team outscored the opposition by a score of 72-15 in the five games played in the tournament.
The team is made up of Aerik Joe, Sammy Moses, Gunner Aldridge, Nathan Dzieciolowski, Zack Rose, Kade Manzo, Aidan Van Gessel, Kobe Manzo, Max Dalton, Dylan Boedigheimer, Chris Hege, Trevor Dick, and Coaches Jim Manzo, Jim Manzo Sr., Tony Moses and Bret Dick
Last month, the 12U Orion Chargers won the 2010 Big Hitter Tournament in Hartland, MI on June 5 and 6.
The team went 5-0 throughout the weekend and won the championship game 4-2 against Grand Rapids. A tremendous team effort by all.
The 12U Chargers team is made up of Manager Bill Moesta, Coach Steve Schoenberg, Coach Jay Gagen, Coach Tim Berger, Chris Knapp, Alex Shea, Cam Hudson, Bobby Pilat, Nolan Long, Jon Scibor, Danny Gagen, Connor Moesta, Colt Schoenberg, Jake Ernatt and Jake Berger.
