MARKEL, CHARLES ROBERT of Ortonville, Michigan; died on December 18, 2021. He was 61.

Charles was born September 25, 1960 in Goodrich, Michigan to William and Gloria (nee: Markel) Perigo. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Perigo; one sister, Bev Markel, step-sister, Florence Franklin; also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; he was preceded in death by his father, William Perigo; two step-sisters, Ruth (James) Morgan and Barbara (James) Fearson.  Charlie was employed at Szott Ford in Holly.  He loves going to Waters, Michigan.  Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME, 135 South Street, Ortonville, Michigan.  Pastor Jeff Walters, officiating.  Family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   Interment will be at Ortonville Cemetery at a later date.
