Mr. and Mrs. Stephen P. Talbot, of Clarkston, joyfully announce the engagement of their son, Paul Joseph, to Carla Compton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Compton of Livonia.
Paul is a 1998 Clarkston High School graduate. He is a 2002 graduate of Albion College where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in philosophy. Paul became a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon while attending college. He currently works as vice-president of operations for Source HR in Clarkston.
Carla is a 2001 graduate of Stevenson High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Albion College in 2004 with a major in speech communications. She is a member of Kappa Delta sorority. Carla currently works in the field of educational technology. She is a regional account executive for SmartEd Service in Michigan.
A fall wedding is planned for October at St. John’s Roman Catholic Chapel in Plymouth.
