County, township host home retention seminar

A My Home ? My Future, Home Ownership Retention Seminar will be held on Thursday (Feb. 21) at 6:30 p.m. at Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road. This meeting is free and open to all Oakland County homeowners.
Topics at this seminar include budgeting, credit, choosing the right mortgage when refinancing, steps to stop the foreclosure process, and what to do after the foreclosure process has started.
Presenters will include representatives from state agencies and the county, and lenders will be on hand to answer questions from homeowners.
This event is being hosted by County Commissioners Mike Gingell and Brad Jacobsen, State Rep. Jim Marleau, Orion Township Supervisor Gerald Dywasuk, Oakland County Community & Home Improvement Division, Lighthouse Community Development and Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency.
