The older we get, the more snow is viewed as just another chore ? something to be shoveled, plowed and dreaded.
Many adults try to avoid it by staying inside as much as possible during the winter. Others flee to warmer climates in the south.
But there was a magical time when snow meant hours and hours of endless fun speeding down a slick white hill, screaming and laughing. Those great moments of childhood live on at places like the sled hill at Seymour Lake Township Park in Oxford.
Why not take your kids there this weekend and feed your inner child? Last one down the hill is a rotten egg!
