Both Brandon and Goodrich school districts have set election filing dates and election dates.
Those considering running for a two or four-year term on the Goodrich Board of Education in the May 3 election must file nominating petitions by Feb. 8.
Qualified candidates wishing to run for trustee Michael Tripp and secretary Shane Tiedeman’s seats can pay $100 to get their names on the ballot, or file a petition with a minimum of six signatures.
Petitions my be picked up at the Goodrich school administrative office, located at 829 S. Gale Road in Goodrich. Details: (810) 591-2201 and filed at the Genesee County Clerk’s office, located at 900 S. Saginaw St. in Flint.
The Brandon School Board election has also set for May 3, 2005. Those individuals wishing to run for the four year seat currently occupied by board incumbent Nancy Strohschein must do so by Feb. 8.
