On Monday, Oaktree Student Council, along with the assistance of school staff, selected their choice for the President of the United States using electronic voting equipment. Similar to the national media, the results were announced over the school via closed circuit television as the results were counted. The third, fourth and fifth grade students tallied 250 votes for Obama and 242 votes for Mitt Romney, she added.
