Jim White, longtime general manager before his departure in 2009, is back selling and servicing cars and trucks to the entire Clarkston area.
‘This is my hometown,? said White, who lives in Independence Township with his wife, Sandy, and their two daughters, Alexis and Shannon.
‘This is the dealership I moved here to run. It’s where I belong,? he said. ‘Al and I grew up together side by side in this business and have been friends for over 30 years now and share a common vision for the dealership.?
Their goal is to make Al Deeby Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram synonymous with Clarkston, he said.
‘We’re not just here to sell and service cars ? we want to build relationships by being a pillar in the community,? he said.
Community involvement includes Clarkston based charities SCAMP (five-week summer camp for children and young adults with special needs) and Angel’s Place (they provide services for people with developmental disabilities), Taste of Clarkston, Holiday Parade, Fourth of July and Memorial Day parades as well as many other events in Clarkston and Springfield Township.

Al Deeby III purchased his first dealership, then Garrity Dodge in Hamtramck in 2000, renaming it in honor of his father, who had worked there for over 40 years. He then opened the Dixie Highway dealer ship in 2004.
