The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of disorderly people and family trouble at Jet’s Pizza on Baldwin Road on Sept. 9.
According to an OCSD report, a 53-year-old Anderson Street man and his 22-year-old son were involved in an argument near Jet’s at Baldwin/Clarkston Roads.
The two brought their argument into the store, and a store employee overheard the father tell the son that he didn’t trust him, because (the son) had threatened to put a knife to his neck.
A store worker then called 911 and both men told an OCSD deputy that they were fighting about a knife that the father thought was lost or that his son had taken.
The son admitted to drinking several beers and the father, who had not been drinking, said he would drive him home.
Both men were cited for being disorderly persons.
