A family on Brabant was returning from a nice dinner out last Tuesday when they discovered that numerous items from their son and daughter’s bedroom had been stolen.
According to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, the son received a phone call from a friend while they were at dinner.
The friend needed his tent from the home and the son explained how to get into the house.
According to neighbors, the friend was accompanied by two other individuals.
While getting his tent, the friend said he did not know what the other two individuals were doing in the home.
Two Gameboys, 15 games, a charger and $30 were reported missing.
Police were issued a warrant for larceny in a building for one of the suspected individuals, a 17-year-old, who happened to be arrested earlier that same day for violating an outstanding bond order.
