Felonious assault

On March 24, Brandon deputies were dispatched to the 3900 block of Azalea Court for a felonious assault that had occurred at Azalea Court near Wildwood Loop. The victim said she was at a friend’s home with two more friends when her neighbor called one of the friends? cell phone for her and asked for a cigarette. The neighbor also asked when she would be home, and the victim told her 12. About a half-hour later, the neighbor called again asking when she would be home. When her friend took her home later, she saw the neighbor in her driveway and saw her leave. She then saw a woman she knows at the end of the driveway and as she was walking toward her, she identified another woman and a girl run behind her and hit her in the back of the head once each. She said they dragged her down the street and saw four guys walk toward her on the ground, two of whom she identified. She was kicked several times as they told her to have fun in prison, that she would never see her son again and that they got her blamed for Kevin’s window trick. The victim then said two girls came running and one slammed a bottle (of pepper spray) in her face, burning her eyes and face and the woman who had hit her in the head shoved a finger under her eyelid.
Several suspects were interviewed and a few admitted to the attack, including the girl that used the pepper spray and said that she was sorry, that the victim never did anything wrong to her
