The Ortonville Community Emergency Fund is once again organizing a food and toy drive for the upcoming holiday season.
Much is needed this year as many more local families than ever are having difficulties due to the economic situation. New toys, games, and books for children 12 and under are needed, as well as food, cleaning supplies, paper goods, etc.
Food and toys can be delivered to the following sites:
‘Belle Ann Parent/Teacher Association, 155 East Glass Road, toys and food.
‘Brandon Fire Department, 53 South St., toys.
‘Brandon Tire & Auto Service, 595 S. M-15, toys and food.
‘Brandon Treasurer’s office, 395 Mill St., food.
‘Bueche’s Food World, 400 M-15, toys and food.
‘Clarkston/Brandon Credit Union, 4 South St., food.
‘County Line Reminder, 48 South St., toys.
‘K Farms, 1100 Bird Road, toys and food.
‘Oxford Bank, Ortonville Office, 345 M-15, toys and food.
‘Sheringham Finley Associates, 1221 M-15, Suite B2, food.
‘Victoria’s Touch of Class, 1763 S. M-15, toys and food.
‘Churches: Mt. Bethel UMC, Ortonville UMC, Prince of Peace Lutheran, St. Anne, Seymour Lake UMC.
Thanksgiving food must be at the OCEF distribution point at St. Anne Church by Saturday, Nov. 20. Christmas food and gifts must be there by Friday, Dec. 17.
