Genesee library announces additional online resources

New online resources have just become available in each of the 19 Genesee District Libraries on the 300 public access computers in the system.
Value Line is the most trusted and prestigious name in the investment field. It now available online at the library. The universally recognized standard The Value Line Investment Survey is a comprehensive source of information and advice on approximately 1,700 stocks, more than 90 industries, the stock market, and the economy.
Morningstar is the name associated with trusted information and research about more than 2,000 mutual funds in particular, although 1,000 individual stocks are also covered.
In addition, there are other information resources for investors to use from home or office. Go to the Online Resources page of the GDL Web site, gdl.falcon.edu, type in a GDL library card number and then choose the resource.
The resources available for remote use are:
· Business and Company Resource Center for detailed company and industry news and information.
· General Business File ASAP for access to broker research reports, trade publications, newspapers, journals, and company directory listings.
· MergentOnline is a “suite” of global business and financial information products designed especially for as investment research tools.
· Hoover’s, Inc. for comprehensive company, industry, and market intelligence for the business person.
Because these are online, they are continuously updated. Federal, state and Flint city tax forms are also available online from the GDL home page.
