K-5 students from Daniel Axford and Oxford elementaries got fired up Friday for the big football game against Farmington by having their very own tailgate party.
Kids and parents alike ate hot dogs and nachos, waved pom poms and showed their Wildcat spirit by wearing blue-and-gold beads.
The Wildcat mascot even showed up to fire up the crowd. He received plenty of high fives and hugs from all the delighted kids.
