Lake Fenton — On Feb. 19, the two best Girls Varsity Basketball teams in the Flint Metro League squared off in the first of two regular season meetings.
This one went to the Martians.
GHS Jr. #1 Ella Place scored 13 points and GHS Sr. # 12 Lexi Kosmowski had 10 points and 10 boards at the Lady Martians stayed 5-0 in the Flint Metro League defeating Lake Fenton 44-36.
GHS Soph. #12 Kayla Hairston eight points and GHS Frosh. #4 Baylor Lauinger six points, five assists and four steals.
