Goodrich — On Nov. 9, five Goodrich High School Seniors signed letters of intent to play collegiate sports this fall.
“It’s an honor to recognize five scholar athletes at Goodrich,” said Rob McRae, Goodrich athlete director. “This group represents the first five to sign letters of the Class of 2023. A second group will be announced in the Spring of 2023.”
Abby Schell – Golf – Madonna University, four times first team all conference, 2022 MHSA All State honorable mention and academic All State and three time metro league team champion. Schell was 38-2 at Goodrich, a school record.
Chase Zoltak – Swimming – Grand Valley State University, national championship qualifier. He will study business management at GVSU.
Sydney Stonerock – Volleyball – Madonna University. Stonerock was second team All State. She will study nursing at GVSU.
Kalen Williams – Basketball – Rochester University. Williams was second and first team all Flint Metro League. She will study nursing.
Riley Place – Basketball – Rochester University. Place was first team all conference. She will study business administration.
