Chances to win the $365,000 St. Jude Dream Home house located in Bay Village of Waterstone in Oxford, are on sale as of March 14. This is a campaign to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Dino Ciccarelli, former Detroit Red Wing and campaign chairman, sold the first St. Jude Dream Home ticket to Oakland County Executive, L. Brooks Patterson at 10:30am at the Dream Home house located at 690 Market Street. The drawing for the home, as well as other prizes, will take place during a live television special on WDIV Sunday, June 11.
Homes by Chirco coordinated the construction of the inaugural St. Jude Dream Home house in Bay Village of Waterstone located on the west side of M-24. Major supporters include WDIV, WYCD, The Detroit News and Free Press, Art Van and Hancock Fabrics.
In addition to the house, local supporters have donated 19 additional prizes valued at $1,000 or more for the giveaway, including a $1,000 Mastercard gift card courtesy of Credit Union ONE, 3 deluxe days at Avanti Salon and Spa, a $1,000 Visa gift card courtesy of Blue Care Network, a $1,000 shopping spree to Jimmies Rustics, a $1,000 gift certificate to Hancock Fabrics, a $1,000 shopping spree to Catherines, a year of fondue courtesy of The Melting Pot and many more. One out of every 500 entrants will win a prize.
Only 10,000 tickets will be sold and will be available at any Metro Detroit Hancock Fabrics.
