PFC Andrea Lynnette Weckle
PFC Andrea Lynnette Weckle is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps. The 2008 Brandon High School graduate joined the service after attending Oakland University for one year. She graduated Oct. 6 from military combat training at the School of Infantry at Camp Geiger, N.C. She went on to graduate from military occupational specialty school at 29 Palms, California on Dec. 17. Her specialty is field radio operator. Her new permanent duty station is Camp Pendleton, Calif. She will be deployed to Afghanistan later this winter. She has two younger brothers, Aaron Hanley, 16, and Bryan Hanley, 13. Andrea is the daughter of Bryan Hanley, Jr. and Cheryl Kempf of Ortonville.
