Laura Hughes of New Cumberland, Pa., and Paul Edwards of Augusta, W.V., were married Jan. 24 at Tear Coat Church in Augusta.
Hughes is a 1981 graduate of Oxford High School and is the daughter of Jim and Diane Hughes, of Oxford. She works at the Law Office of Sumple Sullivan as a secretary.
Edwards is a 1982 graduate of Hampshire High School in Augusta and is the son of Kathy Edwards of Augusta. He works as a driver for Fed-Ex.
The bride’s mother served as maid of honor while Paul’s son, Cody, served as best man. Reception followed at Paul’s home.
The couple will reside in Augusta.
