Jacob Ernest (Ernie) Miscovich, of Lapeer, passed away on June 8, 2012 at Brian’s House Hospice Center in Davison, Michigan. Ernie was 69 years old.
He was born April 19, 1943 to the late Josephine (Pevak) Miscovich and Michael Charles Miscovich in Smithfield, Pennsylvania.
Ernie worked in technical jobs all his life and retired in 2008 from ITT/Cooper Standard.
He was passionate about science and had a great love for horses.
Ernie was smart, sharp witted, thoughtful and had a great sense of humor. He was much loved and will be missed by his siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, friends and coworkers.
Ernie is preceeded in death by his parents and his two sisters: Millie Rucci of Latrobe, Pennsylvania and Lydia Berzack of Lapeer, Michigan.
Ernie is survived by his siblings: Irene Warfield of Davison, Michigan; Frances Chaney of Uniontown, Pennsylvania; Michael Miscovich of Ortonville, Michigan; Virginia Ignatowski of Lake Orion, Michigan; Robert Miscovich of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania; Catherine Filmeck of Culpeper, Virginia; Charles Miscovich of Smithfield, Pennsylvania; and RoseAnn Gismondi of St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania.. A funeral mass will be held for Mr. Miscovich at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.
