Village law enforcement reminds residents to stay on top of property and lawn maintenance in the coming seasons.
The village relys on voluntary compliance for mowing, painting and general upkeep to maintain Lake Orion’s appearance and high standards.
‘It’s a depressed economy but it doesn’t have to be a depressed village,? said Police Chief Jerry Narsh.
As advertised in the March 4 Review, unkempt or neglected properties may be cleaned up by the village at a cost to the property owner, with an additional 30 percent administrative fee.
Landlords and vacationers, especially, should keep an eye on grass and weed length.
