Although last weekend’s fireworks breakfast was successful, members of the Lake Orion Fireworks Committee are still seeking donations for the annual display over Lake Orion.
Funding is currently at 66 percent of the funds needed to buy fireworks.
The breakfast at the Lake Orion Boat Club netted $4,700. A silent auction that took place at the same time raised an additional $1,025.
Fundraising envelopes provided in The Lake Orion Review and The Ad-vertiser have raised over $5,700.
Fundraising events have ended and committee members are counting on the community to still send in donations using the envelopes.
