The Lake Orion Council # 4764 Knights of Columbus would like to thank the people of the Lake Orion Oxford and surrounding communities who generously donated to the March 26-28 Tootsie Roll Drive.
Nearly $11,000 was raised thanks to local townships, villages and merchants that gave permission for K of C members families and friends to collect money for mentally impaired citizens.
Local organizations, including SCAMP, Nova, Oakland Special Olympics, Section XIII Special Olympics and Team SEPTA will share in these funds as well as statewide service organizations serving the mentally impaired.
