On Feb. 11 the Goodrich girls varsity basketball team defeated Lake Fenton 66-26. Lindsay Bergquist had 12 points and five steals, Kortni Elsworth had 11 points and eight assists, Brittany Bertrand had seven rebounds and four steals, and JoAnne Carter gave the Martians five rebounds.
The win gave the lady Martians the GAC Red Division title, which is their tenth straight conference championship. Goodrich plays the winner of the Mt.Morris and Flint Northwestern game on Feb. 20. In the finals they will play the winner of the Flint Powers Catholic/Lakeville game.
