Lecture series starts Oct. 8

Oakland Town Hall hosts a four-lecture series starting Oct. 8.
Candice DeLong, author and former FBI agent, will discuss her career with the bureau, including the hunt for the Unabomber, at the first lecture of the series.
Steve Ford, son of President Gerald Ford, will speak Nov. 12. Gregory Cunningham, principal conductor for Pontiac Oakland Symphony, lectures April 8. Donna Woolfolk Cross, author, will discuss her books on May 13.
Lectures are at 10:30 a.m. at St. George Cultural Center, 43816 Woodward Ave., Bloomfield Hills. Lecture series tickets are $65. Lecture series including luncheons with speakers are $123.
