Light the Night

Waypoint Church, formerly Clarkston Free Methodist, hosts Light the Night, a family friendly non-frightening event perfect for all ages to drop by for a couple minutes or a couple of hours. Lake Waldon and Lake Oakland Woods subdivisions hosts the free event on Friday, Oct. 31, during trick-or-treating hours, with hot donuts, candy, prizes, warm beverages, inflatables, music, and games. Families and groups of friends gathered at Clintonwood Park on Wednesday, July 4, for the annual fireworks show. Many enjoyed the show from blankets on the baseball fields as they watched the night sky light up in red, blue and white.
Other popular spots to watch the fireworks were Clarkston Community Church, Clarkston High School and Everest Academy.
