Thirteen Oxford Wildcat football players made the list of the top players in the Flint Metro League.
Senior Gerry Murphy earned first-team honors on both sides of the ball (offensive and defensive lineman) while senior Anthony Esparsa earned first-team honors as a defensive end and second-team as a receiver.
On offense, two Wildcats earned First Team honors while three made the Second Team. On defense, three earned First Team honors while two made the second team.
Oxford also had four players who earned honorable mentions.
Besides Murphy, senior quarterback Nick Trombella earned first-team FML honors.
Dennis Brown earned first-team honors as a senior defensive back.
On second team, the Wildcat players on offense were: Austyn Sylva, senior tailback, and Dylan Smith, senior offensive lineman.
For defense, the second-teamers were Geoff Charles, senior linebacker, Mario Paese, senior linebacker and Dalton Lyons, senior defensive lineman.
Earning honorable mentions for the Wildcats were Gary Wurtz, Nick Pearlman, Matt Pollack and Josh Villarreal.
