Michael McArthur

Michael McArthur obtained his private pilot’s license on Nov. 14 after lessons and training with Dave Buhler of Clio. He began his flight instruction in the fall of 2008 and has logged almost 100 hours of flight time. Michael flies his father’s Cessna 172 out of Dalton Airport in Flushing. His love of aviation has grown since he began flying with his dad when he was about 4-years-old. Michael plans to build on his aviation accomplishment in the future by adding an instrument endorsement to his certificate. After graduating from Goodrich High School this spring, Michael will pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering/business and plans to keep aviation as a lifelong hobby. He is the son of Jim and Della McArthur of Goodrich.
