Brandon Twp.- A 49-year-old Orion Township man was killed Aug. 5 when he lost control of his motorcycle on Oakwood Road and hit a minivan head-on.
Edward Allan Majesky was traveling eastbound at about 5:14 p.m., east of State Park Road, when he crossed the centerline on his 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle and hit a westbound 2005 Kia driven by a 49-year-old Leonard woman. The woman, who sustained minor injuries, performed CPR on Majesky until EMS arrived.
Majesky was transported to Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, where he was pronounced deceased at 6:15 p.m.
The Leonard resident was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Pontiac where she was treated and released.
Majesky was wearing a helmet. The Kia driver was wearing a seatbelt. Alcohol was not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
