Goodrich-A major village business center may soon have a facelift.
A plan has been submitted to the village building inspector to replace the facade of the Goodrich Plaza, 8147 S. State Road.
‘No timeline has been established to complete the work but the project is good to go,? said Jakki Sidge, village administrator. We’re very happy something is going to get done to the building. Still, change takes time.?
A Rite Aid Pharmacy and IGA food store were closed in the plaza over the past few years. Currently, Tom’s Coney and Lucy’s Pet Supplies & Feed are operating in the plaza.
‘We’re excited about the upcoming improvements,? said Bryan Grogan, who along with his wife, Angela, owns Lucy’s Pet Supplies and Feed.
‘We’ve been open for about four years and anything that produces traffic in the plaza and creates a more welcoming appearance for the public will be a real asset to the community.?
Goodrich Plaza owner Marvin Pattah also indicated to Sidge that he has been in contact with a pharmacy and national retail store for a possible tenant.
