Nominations are currently being accepted for the annual Citizen of the Year award, presented each fall by The Citizen news.
Eligible nominees must live within The Citizen readership area, which includes the villages of Goodrich and Ortonville, as well as the townships of Atlas, Brandon, Groveland, and Hadley.
Nominees should be individuals who have demonstrated active, well-rounded participation in their communities.
If you know of someone who qualifies for Citizen of the Year, send a letter describing the nominee’s community involvement, along with your name and phone number.
