The Flying Rhino’s 19th annual Polar Rhino Bicycle Ride was set for New Year’s day, but about 10 inches of snow buried those plans. Instead, 26 members of the cycling club, 14 from the Clarkston area, took advantage of Sunday’s relatively balmy 30 degrees to complete the 17-mile ride through Clarkston and Independence Township.
